After years and years of dreaming of and whining about and pleading for a dog, you can probably imagine my excitement to finally have my little guy.
I love Wally! I try not to think of myself as “obsessed” with my pup, but I do have a healthy appreciation for him; he’s insanely cute, very fun, and has a great personality. He was totally worth the wait, as well as the work it takes to keep him happy, healthy, and stimulated.
Prior to bringing him home, most of the advice I read included a simple direction: take plenty of photos! The puppy phase goes by quick, and it’s so fun to look back and compare.
In a few months, Wally could be pushing 80 pounds. Already, we’re seeing him grow and expand and he’s likely doubled in size. What a chonky boy.
So, without further adieu, here’s a photo dump of Wally, in all his adorable and puppy glory.
First: my very favorites
These photos are among my very, very favorites of Wally.
These are some of the photos from the very beginning.
Out and about
Wally’s active! (Sometimes.) He’s always up for an adventure.
Like his humans, Wally is sometimes quite lazy and prefers to lay around and recharge his batteries. (And chew on all the things!)
As you can tell, each day results in a bigger and ever-evolving Wally. I can’t wait to see how much he continues to grow and change. I’ll keep you in the loop!
