Get ready with me, 5 minute face

In an effort to push myself to be more creative (and not worry so much about being bad at something), I’ve been trying to post more videos online. I guess it’s like I’m diversifying my creative portfolio. One of my latest attempts has been a “get ready with me” (GRWM, as the creators say) – a quick, five-minute face tutorial.

Even though it’s outside of my comfort zone, I really enjoyed making the video! The voice-over was a little ambitious as a first-timer, but I think it came together okay!

Products I used

This really is a quick, easy breezy makeup look (lol): in and out in under five minutes. It’s my go-to if I feel like I need to look a little put together (like running errands, heading to wiffle ball, showing up for a Zoom meeting, etc.).

Here are the products I used:

• CeraVe moisturizer
• CeraVE moisturizer/SPF
• Il Makiage primer
• Il Makiage foundation (I did an exact shade match, which I recommend!)
• Urban Decay eyeshadow palette – Dusty Naked
• Tattoo Ink eyeliner, Kat Von D
• Benefit Brows, POWmade Waterproof Brow Pomade (warm medium brown)
• Swipe of contour. I think it’s a Mary Kay brand palette? Lol, it’s probably from 1995. No idea where I got it from.

And, that’s it! Simple and quick.
