For our final night of the Hot Springs Connection conference, we enjoyed one final meal and evening in Desert Hot Springs, California at a gorgeous resort called Two Bunch Palms.
Though I didn’t get to soak in the property’s renowned hot springs, I was able to explore the grounds. I sought out the resident ducks, enjoyed a glass of wine, ate an outdoor dinner by candlelight, and participated in a yoga dome sound bath.
I’m not sure I’ve ever had such a tranquil experience.
The sound bath was an event of its own. It involved a guided meditation session through the relaxing sounds of percussion instruments. The peaceful setting of Two Bunch Palms at nighttime set the tone and ambiance. It was incredible.
For me, the highlight of my visit was the stunning grounds. The tropical palm trees and lush vegetation seemed unreal. It didn’t seem possible to be in the middle of a desert—a city with “Desert” literally in its name. Color surrounded us. Two Bunch Palms was a literal oasis, with sparkling water features throughout.
My experience at Two Bunch Palms was a good one, made so by the expansive and diverse beauty around me.
The resort is lodging and spa-oriented, and is adult-only as well. In addition to its 18-plus age requirement, Two Bunch Palms also requires a treatment or stay in order to access the hot springs.
Here are some photos from a beautiful November evening in California, as I wandered through an oasis in the desert.

This sounds lovely! I’ve been to Palm Desert a few times in my life with my Dad’s family, but to get the best discount, we always go in the middle of July. When it is legitimately 118 degrees 🤦♀️. Your trip sounds much nicer!🙃
Wow, that sounds miserably hot! I think November’s mid-80s is much more comfortable. I’d love to return, but now I know when to avoid the area, lol. Thank you for reading!
