If there’s anything to know about me, it’s that I’m a sun worshipper—a child of blue skies and fresh air and rays on my skin. Summer 2025, filled to the brim with adventure and sunshine, absolutely delivered.
I’m still holding on, as much as I can; I’m not ready for a change in season or temperature. On my end, summer was packed with fun. There were many small trips, sports leagues, busy deadlines, baseball games, hot dogs, beach days, pool visits, hot dogs, a couple of parties, and time spent outside. I was so lucky to have family time, friend time, and even friends-with-family time.
My heart is full, and my skin is a little more tan.
Here’s my summer 2025 in photos; a visual representation of my seasonal adventures in Milwaukee and beyond. Thanks for taking a peek!
June
Sweet, sweet June. This year was as good as the rest. We celebrated Chad’s 31st birthday with a pickleball-themed party, kayaked the Milwaukee River, went to several Brewers games, visited Oshkosh, played in a softball league, and had several big deadlines at work that kept me working long and late (all about balance)! There were girls nights, parties, pride, and lots of sunshine in-between.

June is the pearl of summer, shining with warmth and joy.

July
I blinked and suddenly July finished as quickly as it came. We celebrated the fourth with a block party, had a boat day, traveled to Michigan for a weekend with friends, played more softball, watched more baseball, and I spent more time than ever outside. You could find me in the yard (in my lounge chair, of course), at the community pool (my favorite Milwaukee amenity), or at the beaches of Lake Michigan (our very own ocean-like lake).
July was so, so good to us.

It’s July and I have hope in who I am becoming.

August
In the words of Taylor Swift, “August slipped away into a moment in time.” Our month was on-the-go, with travel to Minnesota, family time, and then hosting my parents in Milwaukee. I played more softball, traveled to Denver to surprise my best friend, went to two water parks, went to a 3oh!3 concert, concluded our softball season, had many meetings, traveled to Wild Rose, WI, dressed up for a martini crawl, started up the wiffle ball season, and did our best to stay afloat amid the busiest season yet.

Breathe the sweetness that hovers in August.
