I’m playing catch up in the best way: summer 2024 was incredible. I’m happy to share the visual evidence late (very, very late) rather than never. As the following photos will show, this season was full to the brim of joy and adventure.
Summer 2024 was a little chaotic, with trips, theme nights, cocktails, brunch, friends, beach days, family time, sports leagues, and lots of blue, blue sky.
Here’s my summer 2024 in photos; a visual representation of my seasonal adventures in Milwaukee. Thanks for taking a peek!
June
June was about as fun as an introduction to summer can get. Hot off the press from my Bridgerton party and a quick trip to Colorado, my month went off to the races: executing Camp Chad, playing on a sand volleyball team, and taking advantage of the warm weather. Pool days and beach days and visits to ice cream shops and beer gardens were some of my favorite things.

I wonder what it would be like to live in a world where it was always June.

July
July was perfect, and SO full of adventure. Highlights (there were many): Brewers games, our first visit to the Wisconsin Dells (happy birthday, Sam!), a margarita crawl, kayaking on the Milwaukee River, a beer tour, volleyball, beach days, softball, and Summerfest! Packed, to the brim.

It’s July and I have hope in who I am becoming.

August
If I’m being totally honest, August was a bit insane, even for me. There was our first Renaissance Faire to start, followed by several weeks of travel. First to Sioux City to celebrate my grandpa’s 90th birthday, then to the Wisconsin Dells and Door County with my parents, brother, and his kids. From there, we played host in Milwaukee, enjoyed the sunshine, dressed up for a Chappell Roan pop-up, inflated a pool for our yard, and made countless memories with friends.

All of August still stretched before us – long and golden and reassuring, like an endless period of delicious sleep.
