If you read my recent happy hour chat, you’ve likely seen that my life has been booked, busy, and maybe a little frantic lately.
Here’s the companion visuals for the past couple of whirlwind months. This is the visual representation of my second spring in Milwaukee, which has been filled with adventure and fun and overall, delight.
March
It’s hard not to think of March as my favorite month, since it’s one giant lead up to my birthday. 🙂 This one was a doozy: I had two new clients, 15 or so magazine articles under deadline, the end of our shuffleboard league, a pub crawl, a new hair style, drag bingo, and one hell of a 28th birthday celebration weekend.

You are reborn with the roses, in every spring.

April
Sometimes, April is a dreary month. Last year, that was the case, especially as the sky had more cloudy days than I ever knew was possible. This year, however, I tried to make the most of it: I went to Colorado, we had a pride prom event, there were many Tuesday brewsdays, we ran a 5k, explored new MKE haunts, I got my ear pierced, we made candles, and we made connections with friends.

April, the angel of the months, the young love of the year.

May
May is one of my favorite months, simply because it exists on the cusp of summer. There’s anticipation and excitement and sunshine. This year, there was also so much fun: pickleball, friend dates, the Lizzo concert, softball, a trip to Sheboygan, barre class, visitors, and glimpses into a Wisconsin summer.

May, more than any other month of the year, wants us to feel most alive.
