Welcome to my spring goals 2025: there’s nothing quite like a “spring goals” post when the season is quickly approaching a warm and sunny end. Oops!
Truthfully, I haven’t been updating my seasonal goals since last spring: as life has remained busy offline through several eras of ebbs and flows, I’ve lost track digitally. I’d like to return—sharing goals is both a great form of connection and a way to visualize everything I’m hoping to accomplish.
And so: cheers to the blue skies and sprouting plants and newborn animals and every other seasonal trope that brings a sense of fresh awakenings to this time of year, and to the new goals that usher us into what comes next.

Spring goals 2024
Go to barre class
There is something about winter and early spring that tends to derail my barre class progress. Now’s the time to correct it! I think aiming for 2 classes a week is possible and would be great for my mental and physical wellbeing.
Play pickleball regularly
You’d think that it would be easy to regularly play something I love. As much as I love pickleball, sometimes it takes a little extra effort to get back into the swing of playing regularly. And! Now’s the time! I hope to jump back into it, as much as possible.
Read a book
Sigh—I’m in a reading dry spell. I’d love to read at least one book to shake off the dust and inspire some page-turning. I can do it!
Plan get togethers with friends
My social stamina rises and falls with the sun shining, so I want to make the most of fun seasons ahead! I want to host happy hours, plan a few fun activities, and host at least one party or theme night. Spring is the time to add everything to the calendar!
Note: last year I planned Camp Chad to celebrate Chad’s 30th birthday. I still need to plan his celebration for 31! Add that to the list.
Thrift first
As the temps heat up, I know I’ll be tempted to shop for summer clothes; if I do, I would like to thrift first before shopping at major retailers. It’s a more sustainable and economic choice, and I want to be mindful about which companies I support.
Batch more content
I go in and out of creative spurts. This is okay! It’s simply how my brain works. If I can use it to my advantage by creating batches of content, and planning to post them in advance, I’ll be better off in my consistency. It’ll be a challenge, but I’m working on it!
I’ve been doing this more consistently with my Instagram Reels, and I think it shows! I’d like to continue the progress.
Plan for summer
Summer is coming, and it goes by QUICK. Milwaukee is the best in the summertime, and I want to take advantage of every moment. That will require intentional and focused planning! One of my main goals is to sit down and update the calendar, and really think about how we can get the most out of the season.
Onward!
Wish me luck for my pursuit of my latest seasonal goals!
Established in 2018, Sunshine with Savannah is a catch-all blog with an emphasis on weekend travel, millennial-style marriage and fun, reflection-based musings, outdoor adventure, home design, and all things lifestyle.
Though the content is diverse and varied, the heart of this space stays true to a single, guiding principle: a simple pursuit to find sunshine, wherever I go.

Terrific goals, and great to see how successful you have been in the past…as for pickleball, you should come to New York and play in the iconic Wollman Rink in Central Park! In the winter it’s for ice skating and all summer long it houses a dozen pickleball courts and is always full!
That sounds incredible! I’ve never been to New York, and I’d never think to play pickleball, but it would be so up my alley. Thank you for sharing and for reading!
