With quick and sudden bursts of blue sky, travel, and reminders of how delicious fresh air can taste, spring 2025 came and went and promised a new energy to come.
For me, spring was both busy and quiet. I turned 30, I got sick. I played softball outside, the rain kept us all indoors. There were a few parties, a few seasons of television devoured.
There were highs and lows, and I’m eager to see what comes next.
Here’s my spring 2025 in photos; a visual representation of my seasonal adventures in Milwaukee. Thanks for taking a peek!
March
I always feel lucky to get to experience the magic of a good March. As things (including my own spirit) begin to thaw, there’s a lot of hope—matched with fun activities, like catching The Book of Mormon in Milwaukee, playing in a dodgeball league, getting a new tattoo, starting my spring wiffleball season, or going to Nashville to celebrate my 30th birthday with my closest friends. It was a special one, for sure.

April
April came quickly: there was downtime and sickness post-travel, but also outdoor softball games (with a high of 45 degrees, omg), hair and beauty treatments, Wrestlemania, brunches and happy hours, wiffle ball, work meetings, hosting my friend Annie, and getting a few glimmers of blue sky.

May
Hey there May, it was nice to know ya.
This was a month of fun, excitement, modeling gigs, baseball games, travel, and small doses of soul-fixing sunshine. There were parties (cheers to the Derby and Trader Jackson’s 30th), lots of catching up with friends (moving days, on the At Random patio, on the pickleball court), and pool-side moments with loved ones that I’ll always cherish.

The world’s favorite season is the spring. All things seem possible in May.

Thanks for checking out my spring 2025 in photos!
Established in 2018, Sunshine with Savannah is a catch-all blog with an emphasis on weekend travel, millennial-style marriage and fun, reflection-based musings, outdoor adventure, home design, and all things lifestyle.
Though the content is diverse and varied, the heart of this space stays true to a single, guiding principle: a simple pursuit to find sunshine, wherever I go.

This is such a lovely collection of life stuff, and it’s good to see a happy dog in there too (also, love the tattoos—I’m hoping to get a new one for myself soon too)!
Thank you so much for checking it out! And so exciting on your tattoo—such a fun and transformative experience each time. 🙂
