Spring 2024 was one for the books. As the following photos will show, this season was full of fun and excitement, and a certain reawakening as the entrails of winter dissolved.
There were trips, parties, family time, and plenty of sunshine. It was just what I needed to feel awake and full-hearted.
Here’s my spring 2024 in photos; a visual representation of my seasonal adventures in Milwaukee. Thanks for taking a peek!
March
March was WILD. I’d call it insane, chaotic, stressful, fun, and wildly busy. Most of my month was dominated by magazine deadlines (I think I wrote 15 across three publications!). Additionally, to lead up to my golden birthday, I decided to sprinkle in several “treat myself” activities. There were bar crawls and restaurant launch parties and lots of wiffle ball. Then! My sweet husband Chad shocked me with a surprise birthday trip, complete with a guessing game.
It was so, so much. I’m still recovering, lol.
March is a tomboy with tousled hair, a mischievous smile, mud on her shoes, and a laugh in her voice.

April
April solidified spring 2024 as a beautiful time to appreciate my surroundings. I challenged myself with plenty of barre classes, a 5k with friends, Drybar blowouts, wiffle ball, and a full calendar. We went to art exhibits and happy hours and tulip fields, enjoying the fresh air as often as possible.
April, the angel of the months, the young love of the year.

May
May was an iconic month for me, in many ways. In true Savannah fashion, I decided to make it as chaotic as possible: I threw a Bridgerton-themed party, planned a 30th birthday for my husband, started playing in three sports leagues a week, and decided last-minute to surprise my dad with a Colorado visit for his birthday. Boom, boom, boom.
The sun came out, and my heart has been so happy ever since. I had plenty of little treats, pool time, family time, and incredible fun with friends. Beer gardens opened, and Milwaukee has come alive with new energy. May was one for the books.
May, more than any other month of the year, wants us to feel most alive.
