I could be off-base, but I think that every blogger gets at least a little excited at the prospect of trying new things, working with cool brands, or finding out that your readers want your opinion on something.
I know I do.
Whether it’s working with a Colorado hot springs or a new makeup company, I get so pumped about collaborations. I’m a new and relatively small blogger, so I jump at just about any opportunity to find new partners. So, imagine my excitement when a brand reached out to me; they wanted to send me clothes to review.
Yes, yes, yes.
Femme Luxe is a British clothing brand that gifted me with four different products, in exchange for an honest review.
About the Brand
Femme Luxe Finery opened two years as an influencer-inspired fashion brand, based in Manchester.
Essentially, they are a trendy fast fashion clothing company that centers on night-out looks, reminiscent of a Kardashian style for a fraction of the price. Affordability is definitely their thing, as much as tight-fitting pieces.
The Items
I decided to go with three different items:
- Khaki High Waisted Slim Leg Trousers – Katrina
- Black Slinky Ruched Backless Midi Dress – Aurelia
- Cut Out Strappy Crop Top – Zeta (in black)
On Me
Here’s a full outfit: I quite enjoyed the high-waist feeling of the pants, which have a flexible waist. The top is cute as well, and both items air well together. If I wasn’t wearing both together, I’d pair the crop top with a high-waisted pair of jeans, leggings, or a suede skirt. I’d go with a simple neutral-colored top to go with the green pants, since they do the bulk of the work on their own.
The dress, though extremely tight, is super cute. I love the backless, ruched style. It’s extremely flattering and form-fitting, and draws attention easily. I love that it shows off my back tattoos, and has a very sleek feeling for a night out on the town.
My Take
Overall, I liked each of these looks, though they were definitely a little outside of my comfort zone. I don’t typically consider myself a fashionable person, but these looks scream trendy and sexy.
However, wearing the crop top, I felt like I could tackle the world—I had a rush of confidence. In fact, someone made the connection between me and Kim Possible. I was honored, while also locking down this year’s Halloween costume.

If you order from Femme Luxe, be sure to size up. I’m glad I had the foresight to do the same, as all the items were a little tight even with the size buffer.
For glamorous nights out, be sure to consider Femme Luxe for your next outfit.

All gorgeous!! Thanks for sharing!
Thank you so much for reading and commenting!
Looks awesome!
I really like the bottom picture where your hair is a little messy. It looks “real”. I appreciate that. The model they used to show off the clothing has a very “barbie esk” physique.
Thanks! I feel like authenticity is always really important. And you’re right—it definitely doesn’t feel realistic seeing it on the site.
Those are really cute on you — you look great! I like the dress a lot too! Did the pants come in several lengths? I always have to ask LOL
Fun post!
Thank you! You know, I don’t think that was an option. That can be super tricky for taller and shorter sizing. Thank you for reading!
They’re so cute on you! ☺️
Thank you so much! 🙂
