Fall 2024 came quickly and powerfully, packed to the brim with fun and adventure.
From travel and new experiences to recovery and rest, plus the ushering in of the holidays, this season treated us well.
Here’s my fall 2024 in photos; a visual representation of my seasonal adventures in Milwaukee. Thanks for taking a peek!
September
I’m partial to Septembers. This year, September ushered us into the fall 2024 season in true-to-form ways: we stayed booked and busy! Some highlights included: heading to Lion’s Den Gorge Nature Preserve, square dancing, an Avril Lavigne concert, the start of our fall wiffle ball season, our 7th wedding anniversary, a week-long trip to Colorado, the Colorado Mountain Winefest, and getting to spend time with our family and dearest friends (and my very, very favorite pool).

It was a lovely afternoon—such an afternoon as only September can produce when summer has stolen back for one more day of dream and glamour.

October
October was a hard-hitter for us; after traveling, Chad and I were feeling sick for what felt like weeks. It was a tough time for recovery, but we managed to have some fun, too! We went to Basse’s Farms, had a night out at Milwaukee’s 90sY2K-themed bar, went to a Coven Night party, celebrated a wedding (congrats to Grant and Haley!), celebrated a new menu tasting at Saffron, went to a Halloween party as the only one wearing a costume (I wore green makeup even, oops!), won first place in our wiffle ball league (4x champs!), and I hosted a cozy fall craft night at our home.

October is a symphony of permanence and change.

November
Fall 2024 rounded out nicely with a busy and fruitful November. In addition to an eventful time at work with a new client, we had a little fun, too.
Highlights include: a showing of Coco at the Milwaukee Symphony, time spent saying goodbye to my favorite brewery that has officially closed (RIP Mobcraft!), Chad’s wisdom teeth removal (and my subsequent week-long stint playing nurse), a weekend trip to Lake Geneva, my own procedure at Sweet Tox, dinner and drinks catching up with friends, holiday decorating around the house, a Thanksgiving spent at home (with Chad’s wonderful cooking!), and a night spent at Medieval Times. Lol. It was a well-rounded month!

How beautifully leaves grow old. How full of light and color are their last days.
