If you, like me, are a fan of themed gatherings—transforming a space, inviting friends over, and doing a fun activity with snacks and refreshments—you might be a fan of my latest: a cozy fall craft night.
I recently invited a group over for a cute night that scratched that fall-time itch. I loved decorating my space, decorating, and going that extra mile to make my friends feel appreciated and loved. It was a blast!
Here are all the details of my cozy fall craft night!

Key details
- A fall spread on the dining table, including a tablecloth, table runner, faux flowers, felt pumpkins, and my go-to candle holders
- Each setting had a wine glass, craft supplies, and a gift basket for each guest to enjoy
- Mini projector playing a seasonal movie in the background. I put on Halloween Town (then Hocus Pocus) as we worked on our craft
- Fall-themed candles: pumpkin spice, fall leaves
- A cozy fall playlist playing in the background
- Wine as an alcoholic option, apple cider as a non-alcoholic alternative
- A simple fall-themed food spread, including: a pumpkin-shaped baked brie served with crackers and apples, veggie tray (with ranch served out of a carved tiny pumpkin), store-bought pumpkin roll, madeleines, pumpkin seeds, popcorn, and pretzels

Gift baskets
I love expressing my appreciation for my friends through hodge-podge gifts! Here’s all that I used and included in the gift baskets for my guests:
- Small baskets
- Liner and paper shreds
- Face mask
- Reese’s milk chocolate pumpkins
- Gummy bears
- Reese’s white chocolate ghosts
- Halloween-themed stickers
- Butterfly hair clips
- Wine bags (I found seasonal ones in Target’s dollar-bin section, but these are the closest I could find online)
The craft
With this cozy night in, we decided to center a craft. I recommend a seasonal option! In our case, we each made a DIY ghost pillow. It was simple to follow along, and tied in with the seasonal fall vibe of the night.

Other fall-time recommendations might be candle-making, scrap booking, making bookmarks, painting pumpkins, hand-knitting scarves, or creating art from leaf prints. So many options!
Can’t wait for the next seasonal cozy craft night in!
