Wally Photo Dump

After years and years of dreaming of and whining about and pleading for a dog, you can probably imagine my excitement to finally have my little guy.

I love Wally! I try not to think of myself as “obsessed” with my pup, but I do have a healthy appreciation for him; he’s insanely cute, very fun, and has a great personality. He was totally worth the wait, as well as the work it takes to keep him happy, healthy, and stimulated.

Prior to bringing him home, most of the advice I read included a simple direction: take plenty of photos! The puppy phase goes by quick, and it’s so fun to look back and compare.

In a few months, Wally could be pushing 80 pounds. Already, we’re seeing him grow and expand and he’s likely doubled in size. What a chonky boy.

So, without further adieu, here’s a photo dump of Wally, in all his adorable and puppy glory.

First: my very favorites

These photos are among my very, very favorites of Wally.

Pup stuff

These are some of the photos from the very beginning.

Out and about

Wally’s active! (Sometimes.) He’s always up for an adventure.

Cuddle bug

Like his humans, Wally is sometimes quite lazy and prefers to lay around and recharge his batteries. (And chew on all the things!)

As you can tell, each day results in a bigger and ever-evolving Wally. I can’t wait to see how much he continues to grow and change. I’ll keep you in the loop!

Slide to see this side-by-side comparison 🙂

  1. Aw, he is a total sweetie, that face! I remember when our cats were kittens, I took sooooo many photos but I’m glad I did, it’s amazing to look back on them now. You’re right, they grow up so fast! Lisa

  2. These pictures are so cute! I’ve always wanted a pet myself but none of my whining and pleading has worked so far haha. I can’t wait to see the updates- he grows so fast!

  3. I can’t believe how big he’s got in such a short space of time! When he was younger, his face was the image of my dog’s when he was little but they’re literally so different. I can’t wait to see what he’ll look like in a couple of months!

  4. This is adorable. He’s absolutely gorgeous! And there’s no shame in being obsessed with your dog, especially when they’re still pups! x

  5. I am so happy that you finally got a dog! They’re part of the family, it is great that you’re giving him the best life! Wally is so cute out in nature. Wow he really grew over the months!! I am glad he could go out for walks and such. Such a cutie 🙂
